Bringing Hope, Healing, and Help to the Needy
Who We Are
Serving Humanity Through Faith & Compassion
REHOBOTH
“Making Room for Hope, Healing, and Growth”
We are pleased to share the heart behind Rehoboth Charitable Trust, a faith-based initiative dedicated to offering hope, support, and community especially to those facing hardship, loneliness, or crisis.
Rooted in the biblical meaning of Rehoboth (“broad places” or “room”), we believe God makes space for people to flourish, even after seasons of struggle.
“Now the Lord has given us room, and we will flourish in the land.”
— Genesis 26:22
Founded by Antony and Vigi Varghese, Rehoboth Charitable Trust exists to share God’s love through compassionate service. We are dedicated to uplifting the poor, orphans, widows, and the underprivileged — providing them with care, education, and hope for a better tomorrow. Rooted in faith and guided by love, we work to bring healing and restoration to those in need.

From the Founder’s Heart
A Vision Rooted in Faith & Compassion

Founder - Antony Varghese
When I think back to my childhood, I remember both the pain and the miracles. My father passed away when I was only five, leaving me in a world that often felt cold, harsh, and unkind. I faced rejection from distant relatives and from the wider community, and I suffered the hardships of poverty. I lacked proper food, clothing, and education. Life was lonely, heavy, and uncertain. Yet, in His mercy, God sent His angels Good Samaritans who entered my life from different places. They brought nourishment when I was hungry, clothing when I had none, and education that opened doors to hope and opportunity. Through their care, I came to know God’s supernatural love and power. It was their kindness that revealed to me the heart of God - a God who sees, who cares, and who intervenes in the lives of the vulnerable. From those
moments of compassion and divine provision, I began to understand God’s heart for the needy. These experiences ignited in me a lifelong desire and prayer: to help others in need. By God’s grace, He has enabled me to do this for many people, fulfilling a calling that began in my own childhood.
“Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter – when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?”
Isaiah 58:7
Throughout Scripture, God’s heart is clear. He cares for the foreigners, the poor, the fatherless, and the widows (Deuteronomy 24:17–22; Leviticus 19:9–10; Psalm 68:5). In the New Testament, Jesus Christ Himself showed this love, reaching out to those who were broken, forgotten, and in need, and He taught His disciples to do the same.
“All they asked was that we should continue to remember the poor, the very thing I had been eager to do all along.”
Galatians 2:10
As disciples of Christ, we are blessed in countless ways, yet these blessings are not for us alone. We are called to care for the poor, the fatherless, widows, and the vulnerable to reflect God’s love and Christlikeness in every act of service. We cannot change the whole world, but we can make a profound difference in individual lives becoming parents to orphans, feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, and comforting widows. This is the calling I embrace in faith and obedience, trusting fully in the Lord’s guidance.
I believe that Rehoboth Charitable Trust exists to demonstrate that Jesus can transform lives. Just as the Apostle Paul writes, the love of Christ compels me to share the Good News and to serve those in need in every way I can. Through this ministry, we live out that calling.
Faithfulness, not the size of our deeds, is what matters most. One day, our Lord will reward our obedience:
“Well done, good and faithful servant.”
Matthew 25:21
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”
Matthew 25:40
In accordance with God’s plans and purpose, I founded Rehoboth Charitable Trust in both the UK and India, to serve those in need and to extend the love of God in practical ways. Through this ministry, we strive to enable lives to flourish, to restore hope, and to reveal God’s goodness to every hurting soul.
We humbly ask for your prayers that they may strengthen our walk with the Lord and empower us to fulfil the destiny He has laid before us.
