What We Believe
Our faith in Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of everything we do. Every act of kindness, every life we touch, is rooted in God’s Word and led by His Spirit.

Rehoboth Charitable Trust, we stand firm on the Word of God — the Bible — as our ultimate authority. We believe in living out our faith through love, compassion, and service, demonstrating Christ’s heart to the world through every charitable act.
Our Doctrinal Beliefs
- WE BELIEVE that the Bible – both the Old and New Testaments – is the inspired Word of God, the infallible and all-sufficient rule for faith and practice.
- WE BELIEVE in the unity of the one, true, and living God, the eternal, self-existent “I AM,” who has revealed Himself as one Being co-existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- WE BELIEVE in the virgin birth, sinless life, miraculous ministry, substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, triumphant ascension, and abiding intercession of the Lord Jesus Christ – and in His personal, visible, bodily return in power and glory as the blessed hope of all believers.
- WE BELIEVE that humanity was created pure and upright, but through voluntary transgression fell into sin.
- WE BELIEVE in salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, who, according to the Scriptures, died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day. Through His blood, we have redemption. This experience – the New Birth – is an instantaneous and complete work of the Holy Spirit upon initial faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
- WE BELIEVE that all who have truly repented and believed in Christ as Lord and Saviour are commanded to be baptised by immersion in water.
- WE BELIEVE in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit as an endowment of power for service, with the essential biblical evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.
- WE BELIEVE in the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of Christ in the Church today.
- WE BELIEVE in holiness of life and conduct in obedience to God’s command.
- WE BELIEVE that divine healing is provided for in the atonement and is available to all who believe.
- WE BELIEVE that all who have truly repented and believed in Christ as Lord and Saviour should regularly participate in the Breaking of Bread (Holy Communion).
- WE BELIEVE in the bodily resurrection of all people: the everlasting conscious bliss of those whose names are written in the Book of Life, and the everlasting conscious punishment of those who reject Christ.
